Arrangements regarding access routes to Grey College

The terrain committee of Grey College is pleased to inform you that the school’s two main access routes from Nelson Mandela Avenue and Jock Meiring Street are to be upgraded. Please see photograph below.
Construction work of the new access routes will start already on 7 June 2018. In order to ensure that the flow of traffic suffers the least possible disruption, a temporary vehicle access gate will be erected on the side of Nelson Mandela Avenue right next to the existing vehicle gate.
The entry gate at Jock Meiring Street/Sir George Grey crossing will remain accessible - as is now the case- until 17 June 2018, after which it will be inaccessible for an indefinite period of time.
The vehicle entry gate – also known as the Telkom gate- behind ABSA bank will, however, be open from 6 June 2018, between 06:00 and 17:30 (Monday to Friday), in an effort to assist with regulating the flow of traffic.
We wish to apologise for the possible yet unavoidable inconvenience and request your cooperation in this regard.
